The available discounts should start coming in the near future. Just look at the RS6 - the majority of people on the A6 board figured Audi would sell out the entire allotment instantly and dealers woud get $10k+ OVER MSRP with people fighting over the cars. Didn't really work out that way. Although some suckers took the bait, you can now find news RS6's under MSRP. The S4 is no different. If you can wait it out, $2500 off MSRP shouldn't be a problem. Some people on this board have reported close to $2k off MSRP already.

RS 6 started out as as 850 allotment, later, mistakenly upped to ~1200, AoA gross miscalculation.
