No Reverse
Started yesterday on my 09/03 S4. Still have under 6,000 miles on it.
Thought I had forgotten how to drive a manual, as I've been driving my Tacoma pickup a lot lately!
Dealer opens in 10 minutes, will call and make an appointment then.

Yep, I had heard about the problem a year ago while browsing the board, but didn't follow it too much since I wasn't affected then.
Had a common tranny problem on my e36 M3 (shifter wouldn't spring back to the neutral position under 3rd gear), out of warranty but BMW split the cost for a remanufactured tranny, and now this...
My next car will be a Tiptronic!
