Default Noise Problem

Hi! I am a new member in Audiworld. I have always had good car information in here since I had 2006 Audi S4. Yesterday I suddenly heard pinging/knock noises from an engine when I started the car. Today I could still hear the noises when I started car in the morning. Also, I could hear a kind of an electrical noise at an ignition position. If I express the noise sound after starting the engine, it is da da da da. The noise goes away after about 5 seconds. I don't hear any noise from the engine while I am driving the car. Does anyone experience this noise problem? Please, help me. Is it OK for me to drive the car or should I stop driving it now? Later I need to go to dealer for fixing it, but will this problem be easily fixed at the dealer?

Default Try topping off your power steering fluid

Not sure about the pinging, but the pulsing sound could be your power steering pump. Top off the power steering fluid and see if if it stops da da da-ing.

Default Hydraulic cam chain tightener bleed off.

My 4.2 in 2005 A6 bangs like a SOB upon startup too. You would swear it's going to come apart. Dealer and Audi says it's normal. Mine didn't start doing this till about 46,000 miles. I was even thinking about trading in on an Infiniti. According to the dealer, they have been doing this since going to the chain system. I cringe every time I start up the engine. It seems to be worse with heavier viscosity oil and colder temps. We should just ignore it I guess.
