Hmmm, I can go uphill in my A4 in 1st w/out gas and it'll be fine. No running rough, just smooth.

if its a 6mt it is called starting to stall

of throttle it inputs in 1st gear. I can start off on a hill and once 1st is engaged, let off the gas and it'll keep climbing without me needing to add throttle at a constant speed. No bucking, rough engine, etc.

exactly. I thought it used to always be smooth, but it is definitely rough.
