Now I may have to get on a list for the RS4! Price thought to be $60-65K.

Certainly not cheap, but better than the $70K that I was afraid of. Obviously it depends on the demand. If lots of demand then the dealerships will really be able to jack up the price.

Unofficial word from this site:

Now, what do we hear about the RS4 in the US? At this point of course everything is completely unofficial, but we did piece together some information that appears solid:

The US will probably only get the RS4 Sedan.
The US will probably only see the 6-speed manual transmission.
Approximately 1250 cars per year will be available.
We won't get the cool seats that the rest of the world gets. We'll probably get the Recaros from the current S4 in the RS4.
Very few options will be available - most cars will come pretty well loaded.
Price point may be around $60-$65k.

Default Re: I just paid about that for a 03 RS6 w/ 13000 miles used. And the 60/65K for a RS4 will drop ....

fast I bet.
Especialy after 1 year and when people don't buy them.
And end of year dealer always negotiates year end cause if not they have to basicaly buy it.
all comments are IMHO only

Default at 65k they will sell

if they price them at 60, they will be on the lot for about 10 minutes. Audi has the ability to kick *** with this car,or over price it and kill its value like they did with the RS6

Yeah... those new seats sound pretty cool, but these Recaros certainly aren't bad

Default I agree completely. If MSRP is 60K you will never see them on the lot

If it's almost $75K, why not get a competitor?
