Default Humph. Like we should have a reason to check in b/n service intervals.

The car should be working fine as it is. Let's hope that it was just some break-in burn-off.

Default Totally agree, of course they talked to me like I was a 5 year old

and I just ignored it knowing I would never to go that dealer again.

"this is not a maintenance free car", maybe not but the only one I have ever owned that burned oil before brand new.

Dealer actually told me it could be like 5 quarts low and that would be normal.... huh?

Default 5 qrts??? Normal?

Wow...it must be "normal" that they get no repeat customers. Geez...a $50K+ car with free warranty and scheduled maintenance and YOUR responsible for checking the oil to make sure it's not burning 6 qrts?? 5 qrts is ok, but better watch out for that 6 qrt mark. Puhlease...

Default YUP! What is normal?

Well the dealer also told me the lack of am reception (I seem to be the only one listening to it) is a characteristic of the car.

you know the care is so good otherwise why do I need to listen to it, and then started to tell me how his Mercedes has certain problems, etc...

Like I said, never going there again period.
Consider the source, (but)this guy was the service manager

Default

I haven't used a drop in 4000 miles since they replaced the crank shaft oil seal.

Default I've added 4 quarts...

including 1 today in the 9100 miles my car has. Of course I've hit 150mph on 3 different occasions and just averaged 96 mph on a 110 mile trip this past weekend with long stretches of 120 mph. Of course all of these roads were closed road courses .
