oil extractors
Has anyone used one of these oil extractors to change your oil? I have that very model...
Positives: No mess, no getting under the car.
Negatives: Not sure if I get all the oil out, but damn close. I got out about 8.5 quarts last time and added 8.5 quarts back in. After running the car, the filter must have sucked up some oil, it took an additional quart, for 9.5 quarts.
Another negative is I have to stop partway through because it doesn't hold enough oil.

Don't pay Griot's high prices. I have the Topsider MVP which does the same thing
for almost half the price. It does take a while to get all the oil out though, and may need a few pumps along the way to rebuild the vacuum. Here's where I got mine:
