I think AWE sounds better than Milltek, havent heard Labree, but it is highly regarded here.

Default Labree's resonated exhaust is the best of both worlds IMHO

The quality is excellent

The sound is deep but not to loud

Not much performance gains with any exhaust unless you do catback and down pipes

The workmanship and fit are better than the Miltek IMO

But you can't go wrong with either. An exhaust is the best first mod for the S4

Default thanks for the input. I have the opportunity to do a

prototype with Labree. If the quality is on par with Milltek I will probably go with them. I not really feeling the rolled tips from the Milltek anyways, I prefer straight cut oval tips.

We'll see... stay tuned.

Default I just installed Labree. Thoughts...

I was on the bubble. I ended up calling Maier at BTG Motoring and spent about 30 minutes talking with him (he currently deals with the Labree orders). He talked about the strides they have made in build quality and customer service and I began to get the picture. Lifetime warranty, hand built upon order and possibly the best customer service Ive EVER recieved. Shortly after I watched the new videos Labree released and the deal was done.

It will be obvious when you recieve it how well built the system is. The sound, at least for the 05.5 MY was unparalleled.... Milltek, AWE and APR. While I was installing the system I had a couple questions so I called Maier. He did not have the answer so he 3-Way'd Brent at Labree and got the issues resolved on the spot.

Anyone who has spent the money on Milltek will say go that route. But hearing the Milltek in person, and how the Labree sounds on my car, there is no comparison. After the price is factored in, the decision was easy.

Good luck!

Default 2nd on your post, but why not just buy direct from Labree and avoid the middleman ?

I got mine direct.
Brent answered all my questions.
They even sent out some extra clamps when I asked with no problem.

Default Don't know about now.. But Brent Labree

told me to go thru Maier @ BTG to order the system for the B7. He would not take direct orders.

Also like to mention that Maier is a great guy! Very friendly and extremely helpful

Same here. Also, the video clips on the BTG website do no justice to the sound of this exhaust.
