To own one of these babies. To make matters worst, they are coming out with an RS version this fall, oh my!
Any of you rich folks here have a daughter I could marry?
The car is absolutely incredible according to the people that test drove it. Way better than the 996 GT3 in all respects. Up to 1.4Gs in lateral pull! 0-100 mph in 8.7 seconds, that`s faster than the C6 Corvette.
I need to find a fix to my Porsche problem and i want it to be a legal fix.

This to ever happen and it`s a shame. I really like the Cayman S and would most likely take it over a regular 911 just for the driving dynamics (mid engine).
However the GT3 is in another world. If i had the $$$ it would get my vote, especially after reading the two articles.

Driver`s car and that was exactly the same thoughts the writer for those magazines had before they test drove it. After many miles both on the road and on the track they had a complete reversal of opinion. The car is indeed better with PASM. You have to read what they did to the system for the GT3 to understand why it does what it does so well.
They fine tuned the suspension and its systems (shocks and spring rates + electronics) with mainly Walter Rohl at the wheel for over 10,000 KMS at the Nurburgring alone to get it right! All I can say I`m also convinced the system works wonders on this car. As a matter of fact they say you can`t even compare it to the PASM system on the regular 997. That`s how much better it is. BTW, it laps faster at the RING on the regular or soft setting because the RING`s surface is too bumpy for the stiff setting.
The magazine`s writers said it is by far the best handling 911 ever and one said it is most likely one of the best handling driver focused cars available now, bare none. Pretty high praise if you ask me.
