Try a synthetic polish and then a nice carnuba wax, like P21. WOW.

I find carnuba wax melts off like butter in the hot sun

Its ok I prefer pinnacle Souveran over P21S. I typically use P21S on our other German Cars ( A4, VW Cabrio). I find Pinnacle is a better wax.

Which I would suggest either Klass AIO + SG, pinnacle Souveran or Zaino.

use the paintwork body clenser to clean up the paint then apply 2-3 coats of Pinnacle Souveran.

Really deep, great gloss to it. I usually move around with the wax. I find that a nice 3 or 4 layered application of different waxes really seem to pop the paint out.

Up until the day it died, I continued to get comments on how new the paint looked. People still couldn't believe it was a 2-year, 47k mile, 2-busted engines and 1-tranny busted car. She looks so purdy. :-D
