Out of curiosity...........What is the difference between our motors and the RS6 motor?

Out of curiosity...........What is the difference between our motors and the RS6 motor?

Besides the fact that the RS6 has twin turbo's, does it have different internals?
Also, anyone have any clue what the difference will be between our motors and the new RS4 motor?

rs6 has a lower compression ratio for one

I believe it is an a6 4.2 which means the timing chain is at the front of the engine.probably different pistons,and cams for a turbo motor also

the RS6 engine is a Cosworth built (audi actually used to Own all of Cosworth but has been selling it off peice by peice) and has no common internals to our engine. The new RS4 will be majorly different as well. Different cams, as well as new 4 valve per cylander heads, and a new fuel system to support the FSI technology.
