OverHaulin---TLC TV show to compete with "pimp my ride"?
I just turned on the TV, accidentally pressed down on the remote and got to a channel below Comedy Central, and landed on TLC's new (at least to me) show called Overhaulin.
They just re-did a 52 GMC pickup which looked pretty nice and without the rice!!!
Looks like a new show I can really appreciate.
Any of you guys see watch this show? Is it "too good to be true" (without the rice)?? (no offense bud, but it just fit too perfectly here not to use)

It's been on for a while. Chip Foose designs the cars...
Every week they trick somebody into thinking that their car has been stolen. Then they do a full restoration in about 10 days and suprise them with the finished product. It's pretty amazing. Definitely more our speed than Pimp My Ride!

That's what I picked up on the last 5 mins of the show. The asian guy was in awe without the
melodrama you get on pimp my ride (which is probably fake as MTV tells them to act surprised when X comes to their house, or when they see the ride, jumping up and down)
Anyway, ya the asian guy was in shock, but you could see the true appreciation he felt. I loved it.

the shows been on for a while. I never miss an episode. Quality work and designs........

Chip Foose is amazing on that show. Met at SEMA in Vegas...
Really a nice guy. He was giving autographs and some guy bought an "Overhaulin" shirt. Chip sketched an unbelievable car on the shirt in like under a minute. I have never seen anyone else sketch as good as that guy.
