Default paging choppo -- how does the RS6 compare to your B6 S4

I know the Rs6 is probably faster. But which is more usable as a daily driver? Does the RS6 beat you up? Which is better in real world driving with bumps/potholes and the like? Thanks. I love the way the RS6 looks and like the extra room, but worry a little about a pre-owned performance car.

Default Actually the S4 was a worse daily driver car than the RS6, the S4 has (or at least mine did)

some real throttle issues. Power wise you can't compare. The RS6 handles better than the S4 in most areas.

Default Re: simply love it . plenty of power and comfort As far as beat me up in potholes .....

No comparisson the S4 is a fairly nimble car but the RS6 is just about as nimble but plenty of get up and go.
And the ride is sweet not like a S4 but still corners good.
Imo easier to drive than S4.
You just have to be carefull when buying a used RS6 and check it out yourself and have a dealer check it out and still do your homework and you should be fine.
PS Now that i have owned a RS6 it would hard to go back to a S4 IMO

Default We had both cars...

at the same time. The RS 6 was certainly pushing the platform to the max. A comfortable car, but so stiff it had rattles. Kind of crummy seats for the USA. Slushy tranny. Awesome power, but the fragility of a turbo-based motor. I guess, in the end I wasn't impressed. For the right price used, could be fun. Car needed to be more refined in terms of suspension and it needed better seats and a six speed. Hopefully the new one will be hot.

RS 6 probably get better mileage if you can keep your foot out of it. The S4 is very, very nice but not exactly super roomy inside and gets poor mileage. -Pete
