Just curious if there's a way to see the maximum RPM hit, or some kind of RPM history. I did a couple searches here and poked around in VAG-COM but didn't find it. Thanks!

I have hit it numerous times in my enthusiasm. It seems to be near 7,200 by the time my eyes wonder what happened,

Thanks for the reply, maybe I didn't word my question very well, I'm not asking about the RPM limit set in the computer, I'm just curious to see the max RPM that my engine has reached in the past.

You're looking for a 'recall' function... I'm not sure that the Tachs in these cars will do that. If you get one of those nice 5" Autometer tachs mounted on your dash, they all have RPM recall buttons on them!
