LOL, they are still trying to figure out the software on the B6 A4 3.0 liter cars from years ago.

B5s go for 20k let's say at its peak.

How's 5k gonna cut it? home brew isn't what we'd necessarily call stage3 is it? I would refer to it as such...ASP is stage 3 baby!

Find another shop for tuning. PES is "close" to a 4.2 S/C, but not for the S4. A6/A8 application.

Homebrew is Stage III and just as fast (or faster) than off the shelf kits...

if you know what you're doing. It take a little more know how than just opening up the checkbook though.

I would find a more reliable shop. PES can't get the software straight for the now 6-year old 3.0L V6. I think they have an S/C for the A6/A8 4.2L but not for the S4. I'd be running fast in the other direction if he was actually bolting an A6 S/C onto an S4...
