PES Tuning G4 S/C testing at Englishtown on Friday....

I was over at the short course at Englishtown yesterday with the guys from PES. Tony has a friend that runs the course and let us have the track for the day. It rained in the morning, but then things dried up a bit by the afternoon, so we were able to run the car in a wide range of conditions.
The cars we had there for testing were:
1) PES Tuning's B6 S4 Tip w/ G4 supercharger
2) PES Tuning's 2008 S5 with ECU software and exhaust
3) PES Tuning's Lotus Elise w/ PES Supercharger
4) My B6 S4 6sp with AWE non-res catback
5) PES tuning's E90 M3 w/ Remus Exhaust
To cut right to the important stuff, the supercharger is running great and its taking a hell of a beating without even the slightest complaint. The engine is running smoothly without any CELs or roughness at all. You'd truly think the car was stock if you keep the throttle below 50%, but when you push it, the car pulls really hard and has a great sound. They currently only have stage 1 on the car without the intercooler, but they will be installing the stage 2 components soon.
We put at least 100 hard laps on the car, destroying the car's tires by the end of the day, but the supercharger was running just the same as when we started. I was carefully taking this all in since PES is going to be putting the G4 on both of my cars. I was very impressed.

Over at their shop they have 25 sets of manifold castings in stock, so they are getting quite close to delivering systems.
Very cool stuff.

thanks for posting, quite a SC whine from the front.
BMW behind whining because it cannot catch up.
My car is at Tony's shop probably next to yours; so we will be the first S6's.
You should check my Stoptech's and Hsports on my car, you will
need them (plus the RS6 SW w/CF trim to be installed when I get the car back and put my RS4 rims with summer tires on.
Very impressive components at PES, the manifold work is awesome quality.
This should be an awesome upgrade for the 4.2 V8's We will see soon, as both our cars should be finished by April 28th.
