I subscribed and frankly I'm not too impressed. The no commercials aspect is nice, but here in the Bay Area I guess I'm spoiled for choice of radio stations. Find myself listening to Fred if I listen at all. Oh well, you live and learn, I guess

Free trial for 3 months but...
Check this out, I got all signed up for the free 3 months.
So one month later, I get disconnected without warning!!! I call Sirius and they acknowledge that I get 3 free months, BUT... they want me to decide if I'm going to subscribe and what package I will be subscribing to in order to reconnect me and continue on with my 3 free months. Stupid huh!!
So here's the skinny on the packages:
If you pay by the month, it's ~$12
Pay for 1 year up front, it's ~$10/mo and you get 3 free months.
Pay for 2 or 3 years up front I think... it's ~$10/mo as well and you still only get 3 free months.
Pay for LIFETIME sub on that specific receiver. You cannot transfer to a new receiver unless your old receiver breaks and is replaced under warranty. Lifetime, up front is $499.99.
Right now, I'm opting for lifetime... it pays for itself in less than 5 years.

Umm - that's up there with a free exam at your proctologist.....
It's 3 free months as long as you agree to buy at least 12 more month's worth. Such a deal we have for you today!
I did buy a year at the outset with mine so didn't get to experience the kneecap job by Guido before getting to appreciate the rest of my "free trial".
