Default Planning a 1400 miles road trip, what spare parts should I bring ?

Or do I need to bring any spare parts ?
The S4 only has 18K mile on the odometer.

And what on the car should I check before the trip ?

Planning to drive

From Toronto to Montreal
From Montreal to Boston
From Boston to New York
From New York to Niagara Fall
From Niagara to Toronto

Default No expert, but...

I know I don't leave for any sort of trip without the following:

1. spare tire
2. 1 quart of castrol 5w-40.. pain in the rear to find ANYWHERE, let alone in an emergency.
3. tire chuck.. air compressors are a lot easier to find than air compressors with tire chucks.
4. spare cell phone battery and/or car charger.
5. audi road-side assistance card

Deffinately check fluids, tire pressure, and lights, wipers.. You've got a solid car so if there's anything else you run into, it'll probably be something you'd need to get a tow for anyway..

Default Genius... at about $30 a pop.. and the fact that the car isn't going anywhere with one out... It's

absolutely PRICELESS to carry a couple and as mentioned, a small torx set too... That way you can replace in 15-20 minutes what may take a couple days at a dealer... given they have stock and given it's not the weekend.. and given you can find a dealer!!!!!!

DON'T FORGET A FLASHLIGHT!!!!!!!

Default ^^^ Most important!

Likelihood of having mechanical problems is low. Likelihood of encountering speed enforcement areas is HIGH!

No spare parts; Audi roadside assistance 800-number is all you need.
