POLL: 5K Service - Any evidence that they actually rotated the tires?...
Just took 2 audis in for 5K service and they didn't rotate tires on either despite the service manual saying they should.
Also, dealer said that all 2004 oil changes are synthetic. Can anyone verify? Don't trust them at this point, as they've proven quite squirrely.

Buy your own oil. If they do use synthetic, its not mobile 1 or motul most likely...
Those are the favorites of this forum. Most don't like the castrol syntech. I'm not sure how you will tell if they rotated tires. If they didn't and you are running the stock contis, either way they are going to not last much longer than another 5k anyway.* I wouldn't worry about it.

Called the service Mgr to straighten out their "misconception".I guess they wanted to see if I was aware what was a covered service. ADP=additional dealer profit!

They definitely did; free. Also set PSI right for the 19" tires
Previous cars from a Seattle dealer, this time went to Tacoma, so far they are exceed the expectations the Seattle dealer set for me by their behavior.

I can tell from....
..... very minor curb rash on unrotated tire and I refuse to let them wash the car becasue they have scratched it in the past. No way to rotate tires and leave the brake dust undisturbed.

So the conclusion is......
..... Audi, you suck for not doing undercover tests of your own dealership network. Your cars are great, and your dealer nework is inconsistent and shoddy. God help you if Lexus comes out with a decent performance car that doesn't look like only balding dentists will buy it, as most of their cars do today.
