Poll: New E55 AMG Wagon...What are everyone's thoughts?
I think it's gonna be a great car and am currently trying to get my parents to trade in the Suburban for it. Has anyone seen one because the new autoweek has an article that says they have been out since April but I work in an Autopark with a Merc stealership and have not seen one...which is surprising if they are out and you consider that I have seen 2 SLRs now.

For $90K though? That's pretty steep...plus no AWD! Dealer by me has had several.
I'd wait a few months for the 4.2 V8 in the new A6 Avant. The Merc is nice, but after my family had owned 6 of them over the past 20 years none of us will buy another one until the quality goes back up...too many BS problems.

Audi is the best German cars in terms of quality, but not nearly up to Lexus stds
This is my 4th Audi and after having driven Mercs all those years I can definitely say there is a HUGE difference in interior quality and overall build quality. It's really not even close!

i followed one on the freeway and the thing was awesome.
black on black, huge quad exhausts, guy who was driving it was driving it fast and the thing sounded mean. I ddint even know they made a E55 wagon until i saw it so i was really suprised.

Really? You think lexus has better quality?
My mom has an RX300 and I hate it more every day. In my opinion, the leather feels cheap and the wood looks very fake. Someone actually told me that on the website, the wood steering wheel option had an asterisk with explanation, "simulated wood." I can't wait for the lease on it to end.

My dad has an S55 and it is a POS, very fast, but he has had nothing but problems with it....
It has a vibration under acceleration, the supercharger had to be replaced, and now it just isn't running right and no one knows why. It seems to feel real sluggish and it doesn't shift properly. Not worth my 130k.
