I had the car a year and it's my second Audi (01 s4 was my first). I had many nagging problems with it such as grinding noise at start up, streering fluid leak, rattling sunroof that won't shut up (still happening-no dealer can fix it), allignment problems that can't be resolved. I don't call that quality. By the way, I also have a clk500 which also has its issues, but at least the MB dealers give a ****

yo steve , its me Rob from school. I agree with you,I was told by one of the employees at Lexus that the reason why the wood in Lexus's is fake, is becuase they dont want to be held reliable for splinters in a case of an accident. Sounds pretty lame, but thats what i was told, could not be true- who knows. By the way the Auto Show was pretty lame, but following the C5 out of the parking lot was pretty fun.

It slides when I am on a ramp (just a normal ramp, not one of those 360 in 100 feet...)going about 55 at the most, the I feel the sliding mostly in the rear, (which brings to mind rally races), but the front a bit too. It is not the typical understeer that i used to feel in this car at the limits. There is no tire squeal and the esp light doesn't come on. I stop it just by reducing speed and braking slightly. This also hapeens to a lesser degree when i am driving on the freeway at around 70 and switch lanes. i feel that the car looses grip all the time. What do you think???

Really, they said splinters? that is pretty stupid, but now I know it really IS fake. Gotta use that to discourage my parents from getting another one lol. I'll see you in school.

...if you look at the numbers over the years overall vehicle quality is MUCH better now than even 10 years ago. (scary thought, huh?)
