poll: tip or manual, any regrets?

Drive them both and see what you like, but I felt the manual transformed the car. I was leaning towards the tip for convenience purposes, but after driving them back to back it was obvious I was going to be sorry if I didn't get the stick. So far, I have no regrets. It is a wonderful tranny and the clutch is light and progressive.

well I was actually filling out the paper work to by the S4 with tip. while there in the middle of the showroom floor was this beautiful brilliant red S4 MT6. i said i think i would like to test drive the MT6...that's the only one they had at the time. after test driving it...there is no f-ing way i would buy the tip...ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS!

It is going to cost 70k!!!
I just dont understand the hype. And nobody can answer whether or not it will be detuned in California, seeing as that you need 93 octane minimum to take full advantage of FSI.
Is 80hp really worth $20,000 more? Plus, the grill on the B7 4 series is hidious.
You are going to get your *** handed to you by many cars that are 20-30k less expensive.
I personally would spend an extra 10k and go the Porsche route.
To each his own, I guess.
