i can understand the hype cause it is a actual rs4 that will be in the us however i would also go the porsche route it is not all about speed but are u going to tell me a rs4 is gonna out handle a porsche 996 turbo no f'ing way.

The argument about getting a Porsche doesn't really make sense if you are thinking about a $70k, 420hp four door sedan. If it just came down to numbers, why buy the Porsche and get your *** handed to you by a Z06 Vette that costs $20k less.

also in a year or so when the rs4 comes out a 03-04 turbo will be arround 70 and if u want a bad *** 4 door sedan with real power wait for a e60 m5.

the point was just the "*** handed to you" comparison. All things being equal, I'd rather wait for a new RS6, but I would still go with an RS4 with quattro before an M5. The old M5 was not an impressive car. The new one will have the power and it is the best looking rendering of the new 5 series body to date, but it's still a bloated bubble butt with an awful interior.
