Default Problem with Bi-Xenon headlights on '05 B6

Guys, I'm having a problem with one of my headlights (no not moisture in it thank god lol). The driver's side Xenon light is blinding and the pass. side is normal. It appears as if the bulb on the drivers side won't go into low beam mode. I can hear the headlight assembly clicking when I switch on the high beams but the driver's side Xenon won't go to low beam mode. Any ideas? Is it a problem with the bulb itself or the headlight assembly. Everything else functions normally, the auto-leveling works, its just that one Xenon bulb.

Default The bi-xenon lights have a shutter that moves to let more light

out when your highbeams are on. Sounds like it's stuck open... I'd pull the light off the car, take the bulb out and look in there to see if you can tell why it's sticking...

Thanks for the advice. I'm very unfamiliar with the design of these lights. You have any additional advice or know of a writeup that could be of some help to me? I can remove the headlight but im unsure of how to remove the xenon bulb.

Default I don't, and I haven't pulled the lights on my car

but pulling the bulbs shouldn't be difficult, just remove the cover and carefully remove the bulbs. I don't really know what you will find, or if it will require further disassembly of the lights to see what you need to see. If it was my car I'd just pull the light and take a look, then if you need help post here with pics and maybe someone can help...
