Default Problems with Sirius?

I am having problems with my satellite radio. All I get is a message on the display that reads "Linking". Initially upon signing up for the Sirius service, that satellite radio worked, but it progressively has gotten worse to where now all it does what I mention above. I haven't had an opportunity to take it the dealer yet.

Anyone else experience this problem? If so, was it the module or the antenna or something else that was the problem.

Default I usually only see "linking" when I'm under a tree or overpass. I suggest that you call Sirius.....

maybe if they attempt to re-send the signal to your car it will fix the problem?

Default Mine does it more than I would like....

but but not on the order of what you describe. I see "linking" usually whenever the sky is blocked- obviously, right? This does not always happen, however. I have heard of ground transmitters that help, forget what they are called. Sometimes going through New York tunnels or under very wide overpasses I'm expecting linking but don't get it.
I do get annoyed when I turn 90 degrees or so and just in a few areas of I95 in CT and get the linking. Wouldn't think it should happen just in a turn but it does.

It's like satellite TV..any obstructions will interfere with signal.

Default Re: Problems with Sirius?

I get it relatively often but once I did get it for about 20min continuously. I called Sirius in the middle of it to see what happened (I'd only had the car for a couple of days so was unsure...) and, through the course of switching to FM then back to Sat it just started working. Don't know if it was a temporary glitch in my system or theirs, but haven't had the problem since.
