Why and how does it improve the handling? Aren't there sway bars on the car now...what's so different and great about these?!

If I own a bone stock '04 S4, what will I see/feel as the difference?

Default These are considerably larger in diameter.

Larger diameter bars work because they further reduce body roll during cornering, but have little effect on straight line comfort.
These offer a huge noticeably reduction in body roll making your car corner better, lean less, and just be much more fun to drive.
Check some of the reviews of these in the search, nothing but great results from everyone.

The rear is 4mm bigger, but is the front any bigger than stock?

Default I got these last year...hands down the best bang for the buck mod!

My AWE non-res exhaust and downpipes are my all tiem fav, but then again that costs ~$3k installed. The sways were a night and day difference!

REALLY?! A night and day difference?! That's a big claim my S4 bretheren. To say something exudes that much of a difference is major and there aren't many things that can do that on a car. Let me put that into perspective...

A night and difference for me in lets say straight line performance would be adding NO2 to a car. There you would have a night and day difference.

You honestly and genuinely contest a night and day difference by simply adding slightly larger Sway Bars??!!

C'mon man, give it to me straight. Are you a cubicle tuner?

Mike,

In my car I notice understeer and a push to the front corners when rolling into a turn. My experience with cars tells me an adjustment needs to be made to the back of the car. Where, in these sway bars, is the considerably larger diameter...is it in the back or front?

I know that there needs to be an increase in the front but tell me about the rear bar in this case.

Thanks,

cq

Default 2nd! Just got these last month or so...

PureMS had by far the best price on these that I could find online. Shipping was fast (to Hawaii even!), they were great to deal with (I had to make some last minute changes before it shipped, and they were great about it) and the bars are amazing. Huge decrease in body roll and no noticable loss of streetability.

Default Quick Google search says 29mm for the stock one. Compare with...

Eibach @ 30mm front
H&R @ 32m front
H-Sport @ 35mm front
