Do any of you have a copy of the printed Checkpoint Status computer print out?

Trying to make some sense of it...

It says Release to Production on 2/8/2004, but lists the following dates as ETA:
3/28/04 - Factory Yard In
4/8/04 - Shipment Process from Factory
5/15/04 - Port Process
5/17/04 - Dealer Delivered

Is this saying the car wont really be produced until the last week of march? I realize the ETA's for release from port and such are really guesses... but jeez... if I hafta wait until the middle of may....

"Release to production" means that the car has been <b>scheduled</b> for build, so yes, that means the car won't actually be built until mid to late March and the current estimated arrival time of your car at your dealer is May 17.

For example, my car will theoretically be <i>built</i> sometime in the next week or two, but was released to production in early December (mid-November order.)

When I ordered my 2001 Audi TT 225QC, details of the 225 TT came out mid-June or so.

It was ordered in late June and arrived in late August.

with build week 13. Does this mean 1. released for production or 2. Factory yard in?

Should I be able to get more detailed information by now rather than just week #?

My dealer was unsure whether the week of January 1-2 counted, though, so for example the week of January 5 may either be Week 1 or Week 2.

So that means your car will be built either the week of March 22 or March 29...

from what was written here it seems like 7-21 days? Now from the checkpoint computer print out it is a whole MONTH? Is it this long or do I gotta get more coffee to wake up hehe

This doesn't count the time it sits at the ports on either end.
