Raced modded M3 and an APR stge 3 fronttrak A4 last night.
It was all taped by David at Eurocode. All took place in back street on an industrial park.
I have an 05 with Revo, Strat intake and labree full exhaust (no cats) but have 19" wheels and 3/4 tank of 91.
A4: APR stge 3 kit (frontrak) with 17" drag radials, 93 octane file running a mix of 91 and 100 octane. Straight pipe and I think a thermal exhaust.
M3: Dont know just hear it was modded to hell. He had light weight 18s. Thats all I know for sure.
All races were from a 1st gear ROLL. hah.. no one wanted to run from a stop, except the A4 did once just for fun.
First few races: me running 91 Octane (for revo guys AF 9 Timing 2) from a first gear roll with the M3 I immediately jumped ahead but then the M3 would pull his rear to my front bumper and hold it there for the first 2 runs. The next 2 he put about a 1/2 to a full car distance. It would pull away immediately but then hold there at 1 car. he was also running 91 octane.
I ran the a4 about 6 times. I think the first run I pulled a little ahead then held it there, second run I was about 1 car ahead until 120 then he blew by me. I turned the timing to 3 and for the last several runs (one from a stop) i had him everytime.
I will be dumping these 19s soon to go back to 18. I think then I would have a better chance with that M3. But for now.. here is what I got.
I should add that in LV (wher the M3 guy was from) raced the A4 in LV and lost at that elevation.
strange thing is the A4 and M3 went to the track in Fontana. The M3 ran 14.00 and the A4 ran 13.6 of course they ran from a stop.

Sounds like Drew's buddy from LV that i talked too when we were there. He had alot of work done from
what i was told. Good job for holding that well against that M3. From what i remember he has intake, full exhuast, chip, cams(i think)and one or two other mods. He usaully pulls on Drew's car from what Drew told me once. Just proves you will waste stock M3's all day. Good work.

And boy does it PULL with 4 people in the car!!
How ridiculously loud would my car be with no cats? hmmm....
Eric was driving a bunch of us around on Thurs and yes, I rarely sit as a passenger in an S4, but his car was PULLING like no other when we were on our way to Universal.
Man, it feels like the car keeps getting quicker as time goes by.
