Default Me too.

I'm not sure why other than it's some foolish game with the gas gods that I've always choosen to participate in. My wife thinks it's a male thing, like my behavior with the tv/dvd/etc remote.

The only time I've lost is when I was driving my in-restoration 68 Mustang Fastback. I had stripped the interior except for the driver seat and used the 'shake the car and listen to the splash' method for fuel level. Needless to say, this method is wildly inaccurate which I knew but validated at ~2 AM after a poker game. My wife was not amused when I called and kindly requested to be picked up.

Default and when you decide to post you post that ?!?!

Tip: If you are running that low ...find the closest gas station. Not having Chevron won't kill your car, but being stuck somewhere without gas simply sucks. But hey,.... stick with that Chevron. Whatever works for you Steve.

That should never happen in an Audi, there must be a malfunction.

if the guage is reading empty, the light is on and you are on 0 miles, you will run out of gas no matter what you drive

Default It's sad enough you trust the trip computer, but then you drive past when it says "0"?!?!

All the trip computer can do is make a prediction based on past driving behavior... for you to trust it, as opposed to the needle pointing at "E" on the gas gauge is just plain stupid...
