When you buy a 2004 S4 with XM built into the factory stereo, how is the digital readout? Does it scroll the artist name and the name of the song as the XM radio is playing? Does it truncate the names of long artists or song titles?
Also, if you buy a new S4 with Symphony but not with XM, is it easy to upgrade to XM later?
Thanks

on the unit, there are the 6 pre-set buttons, like for radio stations. with the XM unit, there are 5 pre-set stations, and that 6th button is used to scroll the song info etc. You just hit that far right 6th button and it displays the information.

Notice you the Artist and song title are displayed on radio.
Not a huge R. Kelly fan, that just happened to be on when I took the pic ;-))
The song title does not scroll. It's cut-off at a certain point. Would be nice if it scrolled, but I'm cool with it how it is.
