Default Rear ended on freeway

By the way might I begin by saying the S4 is an excellent braking car. Too bad not all cars are created equal. I was rear ended by an Isuzu Rodeo on my drive in to work on Monday. The traffic was coming to a stop when the car in front of me locked up his brakes. I came to a very rapid stop behind him, when all of a sudden I am smashed from behind. The guy hit me at about 20 - 30 mph. He was not watching the road, and only looked up in time to lock up his brakes before jamming me into the stopped car in front of me.

My car sustained about $10,000 worth of damage, and will be out of commission for at least 6 - 10 weeks.

I am very disappointed to say the least.

Default eeeek. well thank god for the brakes.

At least it wasnt the front of the car.. Oh my!!! That is something you dont want to be hurt. Maybe everyone should have racing brakes if they love practicing driving 2" from one's bumper.

Default On the bright side........Could be a way to get a Body Kit put on

Sometimes you can make a deal with the body shop fixing the vehicle and have them put an aftermarket body kit on at no charge. Just gets billed to the insurance like the factory part would.
Could be very cool with one of these:

or these:
http://www.landspeedusa.com/products/audi.htm

Anyway, whatever your preference is........you get the idea.
Glad you are ok.........

Default Sorry to hear, on the bright side it sounds like you are fine

Your car is replacable and know I sure feel a lot safer in the S4 than most other cars on the road.
