Rear Passenger Carpet is wet
I need some help on trying to locate the cause of damp carpet just in the rear passenger compartment. Just noticed today but I am guessing it has been there longer since I have been smelling a musty smell for about a week. Unfortunately it keeps raining here in Wisconsin so not helping. Any ideas - clogged drain somewhere? or evap leak?

Only in the rear and which side? Is it wet right through? I doubt it's coming from underneath...
The car so most likely from a door seal or window.

Check your cabin filter
If it's not installed correctly water can get past the seal and leak down into the passenger floorboard. If this is the problem the front carpet will be wet too. Same symptoms if the cowl drain is clogged (I think it's under the battery). Do you park outside much where leaves or other debris falls on the car?
The other possibility is the A/C drain is clogged.

If it hasn't rained it is dry. Both sides of the rear but not the front. I guess I will have the dealer take a look unless you have anymore ideas.

My next 'guess'
is a problem with a sunroof drain. I haven't experienced this myself but I did a quick search of the B6 A4 forum to see if they had reported any similar problem. Good luck!<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/1060714.phtml">Drain diagram</a></li></ul>
