Default Replace Brake Fluid at 15,000 mile service? . . .

I have a 2004 S4. In my maintenance booklet in the 15,000 mile service checklist there is the item:

"-Replace brake fluid (every 2 years regardless of mileage/kilometres)"

Since the 15,000 mile service should never happen more than 18 months after delivery I took this to mean that the brake fluid should be replaced as part of this service. My dealer said you need to wait 2 years to get the brake fluid replaced but did the rest of the 15,000 mile service (or so he tells me).

Thanks.

Default That's correct.

Audi in their infinite wisdom decided not to make things easy for you. In their defense, for street use, it is the sort of thing that is only time dependent, but for the sake of their customers, they could have lumped this into one of the service intervals.

Default More than stock.

Change it every year, or more often if you're cooking it at the track.

Default Just to be clear . . .

So, the brake fluid should be changed at the 15,000 mile service even though its been less than two years, right?

Finally, how do I convince the dealer of this; is there some official Audi line they can call?

If all else fails, then I'll just wait another 6 months and have the dealer do it then.

Thanks again.

NO. Every two years, no exceptions.
