I answered a bunch of questions in the original thread, too.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/133687.phtml">Original thread</a></li></ul>

Default This is confusing... is the flashloader actually available... or just the flash?

The posts imply the the actual Flashloader is available.

Default Also to clarify....

I think you load the base code onto the chip via a dealer. Then the flashloader then allows you to switch between the programs.

Default Do you have a favorite local shop you currently use?

They may qualify as a Flashloader center.

Default Correct!

The base programs must be first uploaded through the OBDII port. You can choose from a few different program packages.

If you choose a multiple program package, once the programs are uploaded you can switch between them with free laptop/PC software, or you can purchase the Handheld Switch for $150.

The Handheld Switch unit needs no external software (other than the programs loaded in the car's ECU) or hardware to operate.

Default Few questions...

So, for the initial part, we have to bring our car in to have the program put in? Then, if we buy the flashloader with the correct programs, we can switch back and forth as we like?

If we switch back to stock, will the dealer be able to tell that we had a different program running?

Lastly, does race gas even help our cars? I know if helps turbos, but I didn't think 100 octane helped us out much. That would make the race mode unusable.
