Default Ride today & milage with my tipronic

Drove 234 miles
Computer stated;
average speed 42 mph -- fuel economy 21.2 mpg

I found MPG in the past 2 fill ups to be dead on w/ the computer reading.
FYI
If you guys care

Default Much better than my mileage. I suspect it's because those of us with manuals

always want to hear our cars run through the revs instead of automatically shifting at a point that yields better mileage.

I plead guilty :}

I have started trying to make a point of getting into higher gears to lower the revs lately and maybe that will drag my mileage up a little. I am still hovering at around 17+ overall in city driving.

Default Trip computer...

The trip computer can display:

elapsed time, current MPG, average MPG, average speed and miles to empty

Default I noticed that my cumulative #2, (set at full tank, checked at fillup) isn't accurate.

I believe the the "average" mpg in each trip setting, 1 and 2, resets if your car has been off for more than 2 hours.

Hmm - #1 should reset, but #2 shouldn't. I will try to be aware to check mine more carefully to see.

Default Sure it does. Just use the toggle..

on the end of your wiper stalk to find it. It has been on all the trip computers since the 80's.
