I've been following this and saw something this morning in the 12/04 issue that I don't remember being discussed here before. In the road test summary in the back of the issue, it lists the S4 1/4 mile time as 14.0 sec, 100.5 mph. 0-100 is 13.9, as stated in the 11/04 issue.

where's the typo? .1second to pick up an extra .5 mph. or is my reading comprehension gone to pot?

Weeks ago somebody (maybe me actually) posted that R&T's 14.6 second 1/4 mile time for the S4 was a little ridiculous. I suggested that it might have been a typo. Steve Sanders is now reporting that in the latest Road Test summary in the back of the new issue of R&T, the time has been changed to 14.0...so it looks like it was a typo. Being right is fun

Motor trend has it at 13.6 @ 105 mph I think for the 1/4 and 5.0 to 60 mph.
