Default I have to agree with you on that. Basically a 2 year old car for $75k.

A huge part of the problem for me is that the car is taking SO LONG to get here. By the time the car arrives, it will be 2 year old technology that you'll be paying top dollar for. I think Audi has done themselves a disservice by taking so long.

Default the timing is exactly in line with previous RS offerings.

B5 S4: 1999 (Europe)
B5 RS4: 2001

B7 S4: 2005.5 (US)
B7 RS4: 2007

Not sure about the dates for the S6/RS6, but they're probably close to 2 years apart. The problem is that word leaked out that there would be a B7 RS4 way too early (hard to fault Audi for that), so it just seems like it's taking forever. The only problem I have with it is that order guides were promised a month ago, and I'm still waiting.

Default Re: I drove a CTS-V the other day...

I also drove one at a local GM test drive day and was not overly impressed with the vehicle. The acceleration on the worn transmission from all the previous abuse was not what I expected. The handling was fair. I am glad with my purchase, 2006 S4

Default Played that game...

got tired of the BS in trying to get a 2006, the 2005's languising on all the dealer lots didn't make me feel any better about the brand.

Don't get me wrong, car was fun - in a straight line, and even someone in turns. But it is no comparison to the S4 let alone an RS4!

Tell GM where to put their sales attitude... buy an Audi!
