I just checked out Audi.de to see what the RS4 options and prices were. The base price on an RS4 is 69900 euros. Interestingly enough the base price on an S4 sedan is 53900 euros. Avant is 55500 euros. S4 Cab is 61900.

If were to compare those prices to the US base prices we would find the US prices are in the range of .86 to .89 of their german counter parts. IE take the german price multiply by .86 to .89 and you have roughly the base price of the US model. Do this on the RS4, and you're looking at about $62500.

So there is my guess on price, 62500 is base and it goes up from there depending on options etc.

waiting for flames..... do keep in mind this is purely a theory, but its interesting that 3 models all have pricing in that range, so why not a 4th?

The dealer book says that a fully optioned RS4 will be 70ish? I think a bone stock RS4 will be in the mid 60's, not far from your theory.

mathematics higher than basic calculus -i.e. the equation of a line-). We'll see what turns out, and I'm sure those who buy the cars will be the biggest/baddest 'assho!es' on the road.

For 69,990 Euros you still have to buy a LOT of stuff like rear power windows.
