Default For sure Audi will always tend to make their cars understeer at the limits and because of the...

Weight (60%) on its or ahead of the front axle the dynamics don't help it either.

We will wait patiently for the B8. They better have the problem resolved with that car.

Default sounds like you forgot to turn the ESP off.

"parking lot speeds" is very non-specific. i've autocrossed my car many times, and in the tight turns and speeds of only about 30 mph i've swung the tail around and oversteered my car very easily. in fact, very, very easily with so much torque on hand. so much so that everyone (bmw drivers and porsche drivers) exclaimed their surprise at seeing an audi do that. and the others who i let drive my car were able to do the same. i don't understand how you couldn't have made the RS4 oversteer. explain that one to me.

and in case you get specific, some of the courses included medium sized skidpad-like set ups about the size of the one you described...

Default Nope, one of the first things I did was turn the ESP off. I hardly ever have it on.

Did you watch the video? It echos my experiences. Lots of understeer.

Read the EVO article. Same thing.

Default I was suprised at how much understeer the B7 RS4 exhibited in that video. Do you have stock center

and rear diff's in your car?

Not to mention the S4 torque hits earlier then the RS4.

Default if it was oversteer, your front tires wouldn't have laid rubber.

you plowed the apex, that's understeer. if you're trying to say the B5 S4 has less tendency to understeer than the B7 RS4, you're yet again confirming that you're a total moron.

Default ALL cars understeer....it's simple physics.

the point at which they understeer is the issue. watching that video, there's no way of knowing if the car is understeering 'too much' for each particular corner, nor is there any way of knowing how fast the car is going. geez, you watch a stupid video and all of a sudden the car understeers too much? LOL.
