s4 $50,290
Is that a good price for a Doplhing s4 premium package? How is the moonroof? I dont prefer the moonroof on car? Is there a way to get the s4 without a moonroof? It has those alacantera inserts also. Do most people like the moonroof on there S$'s?

You could get an S4 without a moonroof, but you'd almost certainly have to order it and
wait it out. I don't think there is any way the dealers are ordering cars without the moonroof. But if you could stand waiting, you could spec the car as you see fit, with or without alcantara, moonroof, etc.

The moonroof is a part of the Premium package and at present can't be independently deleted.
If you want the other features of the Premium package you have to accept the moonroof too. I didn't want it either and I did directly specify the order for my car last May.
I have never opened the moonroof on this car to date.

I've asked the same moon roof question
previously of the dealers. Same answer both times. It can be done by placing a standard order on the factory. However, neither dealer would accept the order unless it was firm. You would have to agree to take the car- period.
Otherwise no big deal. Resale in the dealer's minds either new or used would be an uphill battle.

Hate moonrofs, never use them, think they're silly, but it's the only way to get PPX goodies...
If you want anything in the Premium package, you <b>have</b> to take the moonroof, unfortunately...

Is there any problem with hearing noise from the moonroof when its closed, or is it sealed windproof? Is it possible to order the Car with no options? I really dont care about any pacakges since anything I want that is not in the car I will get custom?

There is no wind noise from a closed moonroof.
Audi sells options mostly as "packages" and that is true whether the dealer has ordered a car for their lot or if you order it directly from the factory.
At least as of when I specified the order for mine, there was no way to make requests that were outside of the Audi's option list - like getting the premium package without the moonroof. I would have ordered mine that way if I could have.
