Default Audi needs to bring back mechanical locking rear and center diffs....

Like in the old school mid to late 80's quattros. Computer controlled they could do it now pretty easily. I think stasis center diff will be the next major mod after the pay the car off mod....

Default agreed....there is software outthere already that puts out 375hp, but having Dinan's factory

warranty will be a big hit.

The 335 will be big hit because of its moddability. People will switch from g35's, audi's and so forth.
I am only suspicious of the reliability of the new engine.

It is strange that the S in the S4 is now being compared to the regular 3 series.

Default Agree too and 2nd the reliability issue. I do hope that it lives up to the hype w/ Dinan

I wonder if moderate mods would put it ahead of the new M3? I also wonder if someone is going to come up with bigger turbos for this car- I seem to recall that the factory turbos are on the small side...

For me, I still think I will get a P car next time regardless though- there is more to it than just power.

Agreed, but the 335ix will not have as sporty a suspension as the 335i or S4

that's why you mod it, with a nice suspension kit, it'll be identical in price to a stock S4

Default No- never use them. Thought I would

with a baby, but we always use my wife's car. We live in the city and she takes the train to work so her car is always available if I need it. This will be another year or so anyway before I consider what is next. I love the S4 in the meantime and never have to make any excuses for it- it is a great car regardless of next generation cars.

Default STaSIS TorSen mod a major mod? Not so only $550.00 and a few hours labor. Well worth it...

STaSIS rear LSD, now that's major ~ $2000.00 plus labor, now that's well worth it.

As a matter of fact I would not drive another Audi without these two mods.

Default In the AWD game, there is no equal to Quattro.

Pluss the BMW design looks like a abomination. Even the auto press struggles to find a kind word about BMW's design.

Default I happen to have one still sitting on the %$@%ing shelf if you need a spare.

Just wish it had fit. It goes back sometime soon - custom-clearanced bolts and all.
