2000 was the first year for the 2.7T.
I personally think that the 2.7T is the reason that the A6 has scored as badly as it has with CR for the past few years. Before 2000, the A6 was one of CR's recommended vehicles because reliability was average or better than average. If it weren't for the 2.7T version of the current A6, this would still be the case.

Also, the 0 - 60 time is 5.9 on the a6 2.7 and something like 5.4 or 5.5 on the s4...not too much of a difference.

If that's true... I stand corrected. I had no idea A6 2.7T could do 0-60 in 5.9 sec.
Still sounds far-fetched to me. I thought the Allroad 2.7T does 0-60 in something like 8 seconds.
