Two questions on downpipes/highflow cats. I'm considering replacing the stock exhaust (APR or Milltek) which seems fairly straight forward. My concern is around the downpipes / high-flow cats.

- has anyone replaced the downpipes themselves? If you have access to a autolift, does this make the job easy enough to do-it-yourself? Any watchouts working with cats/O2 sensors?

- I live in an area that requires tailpipe emesssions checks in order to renew auto tags. Do the high flow cats provide the same emissions levels as the stock cats?

Any perspective would be helpful.

If you dont have a lift, I would not even atempt the install. The Angles you need to get to these bolts are to hard with out one. You should not have any issues with Emmisions, for the most part the engine is really what controls emmisions no a days. There is enought up at the engine level that the exhuast is more of a sound thing no a days. Basically make sure you put anti-seize on the threads of the O2's. I am working with Pete@Strat to make sure that the Down Pipes is easier for everyone else doing them. Where are you at?

Appreciate the thought - I may have some questions for you as I get closer actully doing the install. Now just trying to schedule a weekend where I'll have some time.
