Ive seen the s4 dtm, was it only available on the b7? Why cant I find any used? Are there any differences besides the exterior upgrades? for some reason i've had trouble gathering info on the DTMs

Actually S4 DTM and 25th Anniversary edition is different.

25th Anniversary Edition is only for 2006 model car and there are only 250 of them. It only comes with Avus Silver color with multi-spoke DTM style rims. It has carbon fiber lip and trunk spoiler. Only available in Manual gearbox.
Also, it has big round shape exhaust tip.

S4 DTM is refered to be S4 with exterior sport package from quattro GmbH which looks pretty same with 25th S4.
It has same carbon fiber spoiler but has quad tip on exhaust like regular S4.
Simply DTM is exterior package that people refer to. Look for my pictures under my account.
I have S4 DTM.

The DTM package was first available in 2007 and not many were made. The 25th Anniversary Edition has the same kit, the only difference between the two is that the DTM has the quad exhaust and the 25th had dual, as well as rim differences. The exterior is the only difference, with the front and rear bumper and front and rear carbon fiber lips. You're probably not finding any because, like i said, they didn't make many (it's an optional package). I personally have only seen a few other DTMs besides my own. Keep looking and try the dealerships, because for some reason they made most of them in the tiptronic (???). You can buy it aftermarket through a few companies (OEM.Plus), but it's pretty spendy.

which, IMO, really diminishes the uniqueness of the 25th anniversary car. THey charged a significant premium for the special edition and just a year later made it an option for all for much less.

25th Quattro 2 tone interior is still IMHO the nicest Audi interior to date

There's some confusion here because everyone calls the quattro GmbH body kit the DTM S4. There are some big differences between the 25th anniversary S4 and the standard S4 with the quattro GmbH body kit.

There were only 250 25th anniversary S4s made. They are all Avus Silver, have special VINs, have a hand made interior, and special exhaust systems hand made to fit the original DTM rear bumper. The sound from this exhaust is different from the standard S4 exhaust.

The quattro GmbH body kit is the same front bumper as the 25th Anniversary S4, but the rear bumper is different to accomodate the quad tip exhaust.

The body kit on both the 25th anniversary S4 as well as the quattro GmbH edition are taken from the DTM Edition A4s that were built by quattro GmbH to celebrate Audi's success in the german DTM series and were only sold in European markets. The A4 DTM came with a more powerful 2.0T motor, sport suspension, special cross drilled rotors, special front and rear bumpers, CF rear spoiler, recaro seats, DTM floor mats, special interior treatment, etc.

Audi of America wanted to make a special edition S4 so they decided to use the body kit from the DTM edition A4.

The front and rear bumpers are available through any Audi dealer's parts department and will fit any B7 A4 or S4.
