yes, have someone else do it..fuel spurts all over the place, about a pint or so
Just move each hose over one at a time, cover your eyes.

I think that's the same filter as the 1.8t also. I changed twice, (around 50K) and notice a little
improvement each time. I am not a fan of anything Audi says via lifetime. Like the trans fluid in tip... Changed fluid and filter twice also, (130K).

is the B6 a shorter interval than B5?
My B5 S4 still has the stock filter @ 94k miles and zero fuel issues. many folk i know are the same, no replacement yet and no problems.
My B6 is at 54k miles. Wonder if i should look at that.
