Default Is it just me or is the "Least Reliable" list overweight with expensive vehicles?

Seems these results indicate the possiblility of unreasonable expectations for the purchasers of higher-priced cars?

Default That logic would dictate that Lexus and Infiniti should drop to "Least Reliable" as well.

Also - Porsche did extremely well in the last JD Powers survey. I'm not sure about how well they did in the Consumer Reports rankings.

Default Just the non Japaneese ones.

I read an article in AUTOMOBILE mag about a lemon law lawer. Said that they almost never get a claim against Honda, because they try to do eanything to make the customer happy. The most claims are against Mercedes where customers expect that things should be perfect in a MB. And when there not, they are pissed and most have the financial means to go to litigation.

Default i would think the more money you spend, the more quality you should get

that's generally how things should work, isn't it? in this age of "cram everything into the car as you can" it seems pretty clear that the european and american makers are failing miserably at quality control and are suffering publicity wise as a result. who here can deny that a toyota camry would hold up better and longer than the s4? the sacrifice is performance and "fun" over reliability - but frankly, at this price, you shouldn't have to sacrifice.

Default Funny, it's the most reliable car I've ever owned

Austin Metro - distributor died
Scirocco GTI - water pump failed
Toyota Celica GT - oil leaked
Scirocco Storm - shocks seized up
Corrado G60 - supercharger blew up
Saturn SW2 - squirrels ate the HT leads
Corrado VR6 - water heater blew up
Odyssey EX - doors wouldn't close
Audi TT - AC electrics failed
Audi S4 - Nuthin'
Odyssey Touring - Battery died after 18m
