Default Re: there's is a chump in LA that has an A4 with an RS4 badge...

If it's a red B6, that's my old A4. I took all the badges off, but then he bought it and put that damn RS4 badge right on. I feel like I betrayed the car.

Default I guess you don't have to be in junior high to claim you have a Big Wienner when you don't.

Ok, I spelled wiener wrong. If you say anything you are one.

Default Full Production hasn't even begun yet.

There are only 9 complete RS4's made at the moment.
There are NONE in the US.

When test cars come to the US, they usually end up in So Cal, at Audi's Marketing/Test firm in TO.

Default Not knit picking, but isn't it Westlake...?

I knew that was where they do their marketing, along w/ VW, but I was unaware cars were usually sent there first.

Default disagree kujo. at least from what my geneva contact told me recently

there is official info (cleared by audi marketing and higher ups) and unofficial info that is not cleared but that people who work at audi know about and are not supposed to release. this is where contacts come in. we all have our share of them and each of them has allegiance to us to many degrees. the person i met in geneva i feel is very trustworthy for many personal reasons. from what they told me a small working fleet of RS4s, not the ones making show rounds, is on duty for emissions and final production figure testing. these are cars that are "final spec", i.e. showroom ready.

it is very possible that one or more of these is here in the US for said reasons.

the other thing is that audi is pushing to get the car out asap. this is why i have hopes of the car getting to the us in jan of 2006...

Default What type of plates did it have?

I think it must have manufacturer plates at this point, if it still has not passed emissions.

I saw a Audi A3 in Virginia last year in ealy October, and it had Michigan manufacturers plates.

Default My number of 9 was TEST cars not, SHOW cars !!!!

I know, for a fact that there are NONE in the US yet.

I had a meeting with some AoA execs on Monday !!!!!

I don't dick folks around with rumors.
I only ever post stuff, I've heard from VERY reliable sources with in AoA.

Europe sources don't usually have correct USA data.
