Default Seatbelt buckle causing an indentation on rear seatback.

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/74193/100_0785.jpg"></center><p>
When I fold down the rear seats, the center seatbelt buckle (red arrow) sticks up into the center seatback/armrest (yellow arrow), leaving this nasty little scar.

I cannot tuck the buckle away as there is not enough room in the little pocket right next to it.

It refuses to lay flat on its side, instead choosing to stick nearly straight up at the angle you see in the photo.

1) Does anybody else have this problem?

2) Assuming I can find a solution, is there anything I can do to the leather to massage this out? TIA.

Default Yes, VERY ANNOYING.

I still have indentations from my ski trip a couple weeks ago. Next time, a thick blanket will be covering the seatbelt.

I'm hoping my detail tomorrow morning will solve this. I'll be conditioning the leather, so I'll tell you if it helps.

Default i end up leaving it under the seats when i installed the back seats...

it's so rare i'm carrying passengers, and even when i'm, i've never carried more than 2 people in the back seats...

Place a thick, folded towel on top of the buckle. Then lower the seatback.
