Seems like the tides are turning in b6s4 forum, with original owners selling their cars and a newer
croud of people buying them.
Hope the kindness/helpfullness remains the same and doesn't become childish/juvinile.

Agreed. We are at that stage in the lifecycle of the model...
where people are making that decision:
"Should I stay or should I go?"
It's good (and healthy) to see new owners coming in and yes we should treat them with respect since we're all interested in maintaining the value of our cars and the brand.
I'll be here for at least another year (maybe longer if APR ever releases that supercharger ;^D).

I think it has alot to do with the length of the lease terms.

This is round 2. The "early adopter" crowd usually get bored quick and move on
Some early adopters other than myself who I'm sure will keep their car for at least 4 years are ESFO, NJRick, s4jones, SocHillClimber, and I think there are 2-3 others that now only lurk.
The incoming crowd will be tune-******, which will really push the envelope re: mods.
Oh and final note, given new cars aren't being produced with this body style....
