SellCell now sells Audi's
I have made a major career change. I have just been hired as a salesman for the new Jack Daniels Audi dealership set to open on September 1st in Upper Saddle River, NJ on RT. 17 South. I have grown tired of the cell phone biz after 15 years...so what's an Audi addict to do? Go sell them of course! This is of course VERY good news for anyone living in the NY/NJ area looking to buy an Audi, as I will do WHAT ever I can for a fellow AudiWorlder. I will most likley get the dealership to become an advertiser here so as to not casue any conflicts with any posts I make once I start. We have 400 cars on order for stock for the opening...I'm sure there will be some deals to be had...as I find out more I'll post it here...

congrats! and about that **** test, is that sanctioned by AoA or just the owners of the dealership?
because I know this girl who is a receptionist at an audi dealership who is the biggest cokehead I've ever met. a true crack-ho.

Don't get me started about these privacy invasions that most employers subject people too. Pretty soon they will make body cavity searches commonplace for employment maybe then people will wake up.

I passed on it...I was offered something at the top NorCal dealership
Decided I couldn't make the living I wanted doing it...hours are really long...and the bonuses from Audi are gone..only the dealership ones continue. My friend was the #1 salesguy in the nation in 2000...with 300 sold cars that year...boom year...but now..he barely scrapes by with 100 cars per year...lets see...assume $500/car (since you make nothing on extended warranties, permaplate, window etching, theft deterents, financing..since it goes to the finance manager instead)..consider the $250-300 pack that the dealership charges you per car...
And what do you get at that level...$50K gross per year. No thanks..I live in California..that gets you nothing here.
Find something else...my 2 cents worth on the subject.
There are always exceptions..but I am trying to paint a correct picture for those brave souls that think selling Audis is a lucrative business.
Selling porsches? That is another thing entirely. Try to find some place that lets you sell Porsches and Audis. :-)
